Holy Week: A Journey to Resurrection
The story of Easter doesn’t begin on Sunday—it’s a journey that starts long before, inviting us to walk alongside Jesus in His final days, to reflect, and to prepare our hearts for the power of resurrection. Join us for our in person services and participate with friends and family with our at home observations.
Ash Wednesday Service - 3.5.25, 8:00a at Zootown Church
Our path toward Holy Week starts with Ash Wednesday, a day of repentance and reflection. Marking the beginning of Lent, it’s a time to turn our hearts toward God, embracing humility and preparation as we move toward the cross.
Palm Sunday - 4.13.25, 10:00a at Zootown Church
Holy Week officially begins on Palm Sunday, when Jesus enters Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna!” The people welcome Him as a king

Maundy Thursday The Last Supper - Take home communion kit
On Maundy Thursday, we remember Jesus’ final meal with His disciples. This night is about sacrifice, service, and love, as Jesus washes the disciples’ feet and gives us the commandment to love one another. It’s also the night He breaks bread and shares the cup, giving us the gift of communion.
Take home communion kits are available at HELLO Booth.
Good Friday - Stations of the Cross Open House 5:00p - 8:00p
Good Friday is a day of deep sorrow and reflection. Jesus is betrayed, beaten, and crucified, taking on the weight of sin for the sake of the world. The sky darkens, the temple veil is torn, and for a moment, all seems lost.
Great and Holy Saturday - A Day of Waiting Take home service card
Between the sorrow of Good Friday and the joy of Easter, Great and Holy Saturday is a day of stillness. It’s a time to sit in the tension, to reflect on the silence of the tomb, and to share a meal together, waiting in hope for what comes next. (Pick up a Take-Home Service Card at the Hello Booth or download one at zootownchurch.com/ghs to experience this moment with family and friends.)
